ISTA UCSD presents Persian/Jazz improvisation by Sibarg Ensemble on Saturday, November 14. This event, which takes place at Conrad Prebys Music Center, is free and open to public.

The Sibarg Ensemble was established in 2008 by Hesam Abedini along with a group of students as the first Fusion Ensemble of the Tehran Music School in Iran. Sibarg has performed at several locations and have, with each performance, introduced their method of fusing eastern and western melodies to create beautiful and original compositions. Since 2010, Sibarg has rebooted their performances in the United States and has introduced new, talented musicians.
